Scouts Winter Camp

Dear Parents and Carers,

Following the success of our recent joint-troop evening with Randwick Scout Group, we’re excited to continue building on this partnership. As a next step, Stroud Valley Scouts have been invited to join Randwick for a joint-troop winter camp this January, marking the first camp of 2026.

If your young person is ready to “let it go and head into the unknown”, this is a weekend they won’t want to miss! Scouts will enjoy a fantastic programme of exhilarating activities and entertainment as we head into a Winter Camp with an Aussie twist.

Participants can choose to stay in the bunkhouse or camp outdoors. Previous Winter Camps have seen Scouts tackling frost, mud, and sub-zero temperatures—just the challenge needed after a month of festive over-indulgence, TV marathons, and board games!

This year’s activities are themed around “I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!”, so Scouts should be prepared for bush-tucker-style trials, woodland surprises, and some imaginative encounters with “hobbits and sheep”.
