Beaver Scouts (6-8)

Beaver Scouts are young people aged between 6 and 8 years old. Our colony meets on a Wednesday evening from 6pm to 7pm.

Our Beaver colony is a friendly and active place for your child to join – we get up to all sorts of things, including den building, day visits, sleepovers, arts and crafts, tracking, science experiments, first aid, having visitors, exploring the outdoors and much more.

Beaver Scouts can work on getting up to 30 badges, some of which they can work on at home.

Our Beaver Scout leader is Samantha Peters, assisted by Kat Ross.

HM King Charles III has been confirmed as our new Patron, a great honour for UK Scouts.

The King continues a long tradition of the monarch giving their Patronage, dating back to 1912. This was when Scouts was granted its Royal Charter and HM George V became our first Patron.
