Equipment Hire

Alongside our venue spaces, Stroud Valley Scouts offers a selection of equipment for community groups, local events, schools, youth organisations and families. Whether you’re running a fete, hosting a party or planning an outdoor activity, we may have just what you need.

All equipment hire supports Scouting in Stroud and helps us provide skills for life to young people in our community.

What We Offer

We have a range of useful items available for hire. If you can’t see what you’re looking for, please contact us — we may still be able to help.

• Gazebos & shelters – Ideal for events, fetes and outdoor gatherings
• Event tents & marquees – Suitable for shade, cover and outdoor activities
• Tables – Folding tables for events, meetings and displays
• Folding chairs – Lightweight and easy to transport
• BBQs – For supervised outdoor cooking and community events
• Projector – Perfect for presentations, training or film nights
• Camping kit – Various items available depending on your needs
• Rope & knot kits – For activities, sessions and outdoor learning
• Portable generator – Ideal for events or locations without a power supply

Equipment availability varies, so please contact us with your requirements and we’ll confirm what we can provide.

How It Works

• Collection only – All equipment must be collected and returned in person
• Deposit required – Confirmed during the booking process
• Items must be returned clean and in good condition
• Any damage may incur a repair or replacement cost
• No commercial hire – For community and personal use only
• Some items may require trained adults to use safely
• Collection and return times must be agreed in advance

Storage & Collection

All equipment is stored at the Stroud Valley Scout Centre. Collection details will be provided once your booking is confirmed.
