Promises Made, Adventures Ahead as 16 New Cubs Join the Reopened Stroud Valley Cub Pack

New Cubs taking part in their investiture ceremony at Stroud Valley Scouts

Stroud Valley Scout Group is proud to celebrate a heart-warming moment for our newly reopened Cub Pack, as 16 new Cubs were officially invested and began their Scouting journey.

The investiture ceremony brought together Cubs, families, Leaders, and Young Leaders to welcome the new members into the Pack. Each Cub made their promise and received their badges, marking the start of new friendships, adventures, and opportunities to grow through Scouting.

The evening was filled with excitement, smiles, and proud moments as the Cubs stood together to take their promise. For many families, it was a particularly special occasion, marking an important step in their child’s journey with Stroud Valley Scouts.

“It was wonderful to see so many Cubs taking their promise and officially joining the Pack. The smiles, excitement, and confidence they showed on the night really captured what Cubs is all about. We are incredibly proud of them and can’t wait to see the adventures they’ll share together.”

With the Cub Pack now fully reopened, weekly meetings are already underway, offering a mix of games, skills, teamwork, creativity, and outdoor activities designed to help young people build confidence and have fun.

The successful investiture reflects the dedication of our volunteer Leaders and Young Leaders, whose support and enthusiasm have helped make the reopening of the Cub Pack such a positive experience.
