Scouts Take to the Stage to Earn Entertainer Badge in Festive Style

Laughter filled the room as our Scouts took on a festive challenge with a theatrical twist — writing, rehearsing, and performing their own short comedy plays to earn their Entertainer badge.

Split into three groups, the Scouts worked together to come up with festive-themed sketches, complete with storylines, characters, and plenty of enthusiasm. From the first rehearsal to the final performance, creativity and confidence were on full display — along with the occasional awkward moment, which only added to the fun.

Each group brought something different to the stage, with plenty of laughs, dramatic pauses, and unexpected plot twists. The Young Leaders even got involved, proving that no one is safe when it comes to festive-themed comedy — especially when Scouts are in charge of the script.

While every performance was equally entertaining (and possibly equally embarrassing for those involved), one group managed to edge ahead. This year, it was Tiger Patrol who truly stole the show, earning bragging rights for the best play — at least until next time.

The Entertainer badge is all about confidence, teamwork, creativity, and having the courage to get up in front of others — something every Scout showed in abundance. Judging by the laughter in the room, the audience may have enjoyed it just as much as the performers did.

Well done to all the Scouts and brave Young Leaders who took part — festive fun, unforgettable performances, and another badge earned the Scout way.

Fancy giving something like this a go? Scouts is all about trying new things, building confidence, and having fun along the way — on and off the stage.
