Whether you’re planning a children’s party, running a weekly class, hosting a meeting or organising a community event, we offer a choice of welcoming indoor and outdoor spaces to suit your needs.
Our venues are regularly used by local groups, families and youth organisations. All hire income goes directly back into supporting Scouting in Stroud — helping young people learn skills for life.
Every booking supports local Scouting. When you hire our spaces, you help us maintain the Scout Centre and Coach House, keep Scouting affordable, and provide better opportunities for young people in Stroud.
We have two versatile venues available to hire:
Our main centre is ideal for clubs, classes, children’s parties, performances, larger meetings and community events. It includes two bright halls, kitchen access and a fully enclosed outdoor space.
Typical uses include:
Recently refurbished, the Coach House offers a warm, characterful and self-contained space perfect for smaller groups. With its own entrance and facilities, it’s a popular choice for meetings, tutoring, craft sessions, therapy work and creative workshops.
The Scout Centre’s outdoor area is fully enclosed, making it ideal for supervised children’s activities, group games, family gatherings and warm-weather events. It’s available as part of Scout Centre bookings and can be used flexibly alongside either hall.

Our live calendars update automatically as bookings are added or changed. Once you’ve found a suitable date and time, send us an enquiry with the details of your booking and our volunteer venue team will get back to you as soon as possible.
Please note: a free space in the calendar means that there is currently no booking recorded for that time. Your booking is not confirmed until you have heard back from our venue team.
Before your booking, please review our building and outdoor grounds risk assessments. We have also included our current public liability insurance certificate for reference. These documents cover all hireable spaces, including the Scout Centre and the Coach House.
Hiring our spaces already helps support Stroud Valley Scouts. If you would like to support the group beyond your booking, donations help us maintain and improve the site, provide equipment and activities, and keep Scouting affordable for local families.
There is no expectation for hirers to donate — but every extra contribution helps us do more for young people in Stroud.
